Daddy's day out! Today was Daddy's birthday so Ethan and I took him on a day of surprises. First we went to Doughnut Plant on the Lower East Side, where Ethan tried a sip of chocolate milk for the first time. That pretty much blew his mind. Next I stood in line to sign Ethan up for his swimming classes at Barnard.
Then we went for lunch at Wichcraft (Tom Colicchio's sandwich shop) at Lincoln Center. Then off to the MoMA to see the Tim Burton exhibit. Boy was that cool! Then we went to dinner at Momofuku Ssom Bar with Uncle Chris. For dessert, I made Joe a homemade pineapple upside down cake (his favorite.) The Ethan had a great time unwrapping all of his Daddy's gifts! ;-)
