Today Ethan had a wonderful Father's Day with his Daddy! Ethan gave Daddy some really nice gifts - a calendar of Ethan photos, "I love Dad" boxers and the "Little Big Book of Dad" (along with several other things...)
This morning he went for brunch and ate pancakes for the first time! (He didn't have any butter or syrup though..) Next he went to the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. He saw a huge exhibit on Felt. There are some photos of him sitting in the Palace Yurt. It was so beautiful!
Next he went to the Austrian German Cafe Sabarsky at the Neue Galerie for dessert. (he didn't really eat it though) - maybe next year!
Then we headed downtown to Perilla (the first Top Chef's, Harold Dieterle's new restaurant.) Joe was extremely excited by all his surprises. And Ethan was a very good boy at all these seemingly not-so-baby friendly locales! We had a great day!
I notice it looks like we ate a lot of dessert - well, just for the record we saved a lot of it for this week! Yes, Ethan did destroy that big Daddy cupcake!
